Emerald City Senate History

HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS:

TNBA was introduced to Seattle in 1992 by John McGee of Fairfield California.  He formed the
original organization on Feb 28, 1993.  The Senate was formed and charted on March 19, 1993.
The first  officers were: 
Adbul A-leen Ahmed- President, William  Danny Kelley-Vice-President,
Thay Mitchell-Secretary, and Betty Gooding-Treasurer.  The Senate was 64 members strong.

The first bowling venue was Imperial Lanes.  There were 10 league teams.

Today's Emerald City Senate boast 151 members and growing. The Senate now  has 22 active
teams.  The home for the Senate is The Imperial  Lanes.

The Senate  is active in the community and donates to several local charities during the year. 

Senate members have presented strong showings at many TNBA events.
